What is BrickSonar?

BrickSonar is an independent price comparison for building block sets. We automatically compare prices across different online shops so you can find the best deal.

Methodology

Our prices are fetched automatically and regularly directly from the online shops. The update frequency varies per shop:

• Tier A (large shops): every 15 minutes
• Tier B (mid-size shops): hourly
• Tier C (smaller shops): every 6 hours

The “Updated” column shows when the price was last checked. Prices older than 48 hours are marked as stale.

Total price calculation

We calculate the total price including shipping costs for your country. If a shop's shipping costs are unknown, this is shown as “excl. shipping costs”. These offers are ranked below offers with known shipping costs.

Price history and buy signal

The price history shows the trend over 30, 90 or 365 days. The buy signal (“Good price”, “Fair price”, “Average”) is based on comparing the current price with the 90-day average and the historic minimum.
