COBI 20078: Roman legionnaires' tent

Description

This 198 piece COBI set builds a Roman legionary tent camp scene, centred on a contubernium tent and one legionary figure. At 1:35 scale, it is sized more like a display diorama than a large play model, though the compact layout and accessories give it enough presence for shelf appeal. The figure comes with shield, sword, armour, javelin and helmet, and can also be shown in a tunic after removing the armour. Around the tent, the build includes camp details such as barrels, weapon racks, armour, a shovel, a bench, a fire pit with roasting fish, a pillow, plants and a shade tree. It is designed as a modular part of a larger Roman camp, so collectors can add to it over time.
