Description

COBI Battle of Midway is a two player board game set around the 1942 Pacific battle, with each player taking command of either the American or Japanese air fleet. The build is modest at 30 pieces, so it is more about the tabletop game experience than a long construction project, and the game uses block built plane pawns on stands rather than large models. Inside are the game board, 12 planes on special bases, action cards, tokens, markers and stickers for personalising the aircraft. The rules are described as straightforward, with strategy mixed with chance, so it should be easy to learn and still stay lively from one match to the next.
