Description

COBI 2560 recreates the 60 cm Karl-Gerät 040 ZIU, the massive self-propelled mortar known for its huge 60 cm gun and its use during the Second World War. Built at 1:28 scale from 1,574 pieces, it is a substantial model with enough size and detail to work well as a display piece. The model includes movable wheels and tracks, a moving gun barrel, and a loading system, so there is more to it than a static build. The set comes with five minifigures, four German soldiers and a dog. You get an officer, a service soldier, a mechanic and a gendarme, along with printed details and a name plaque for the model. For collectors of military vehicles, this is a detailed build of one of the most unusual artillery machines of the war.
