COBI’s Panzer III Ausf. J is a 1:28 scale build of the German medium tank that saw widespread service in World War II. With 780 pieces, it sits in the more substantial end of the hobby range and should suit collectors who want a display model with some hands-on detail. The set includes two figures, a German soldier and a mechanic, and gives you a choice of two gun versions, short or long barreled. The model includes movable elements such as opening hatches, a movable cannon barrel, and rotating wheels and tracks. Service hatches can be opened to reveal the brick-built engine inside. Printed details are used throughout to help capture the look of the original vehicle, and the finished tank measures 23 cm long and 6.5 cm high.
