Description

This Limited Edition PT-109 patrol torpedo boat is a large display model of the famous American craft, recreated in 1:35 scale with 13 sailor figures. With 3,763 pieces, it is firmly in the big, detailed-build category, and the finished model stretches 72 cm long, so it is aimed more at display than casual shelf filler. A strong point of the set is the interior. The deck can be removed to reveal the crew quarters, technical spaces, and engine room, which gives the model extra depth beyond the exterior shape. It also comes with a stand, an engraved plate with the model name and individual number, and a certificate signed by the President of COBI. For collectors, the individually numbered presentation adds to the appeal.
