Description

This 1:35 COBI model recreates the LCVP Higgins Boat, the landing craft associated with D-Day and wider World War II operations. Built from 715 pieces, it is a collector-focused set with a display stand and name plate, and it measures 36 cm long once assembled. The boat includes an opening front ramp, a full hull, two machine guns with covers, a cable system for raising and lowering the ramp, a rudder, turbines, and an opening hatch that shows the outline of the engine beneath. The set also comes with two figures, an American infantry soldier and a sailor, plus a large US flag printed on both sides. Permanent prints are used throughout, which suits a display model that aims to capture the look of the original craft in brick form.
