Description

This 1:35 scale model of the DR BR 52 steam locomotive brings the famous wartime freight engine to life in brick form, with 1,723 pieces giving it a substantial, display-worthy presence. The 2-in-1 build lets you choose between German DR BR 52 markings from World War II or the Polish Ty2 version used by the Polish State Railways after the war, with separate name plates, markings, numbering, and extra parts included for both looks. The locomotive and tender move together, and the internal gear mechanism is meant to make the wheel movement feel realistic when you gently push it. An opening engine room roof lets you see the printed details inside, including the instruments and even the firebox with burning coal. Five track sections are included, along with two figures, a German train driver and a Polish railway worker, so the finished model has plenty of context for a railway display.
