This 1:12 scale Volkswagen Golf from 1974 to 1983 recreates one of the best-known compact cars of its era in a substantial 1,533 piece model. At 30.5 cm long, it is sized for display, but the build still offers plenty for a hands-on hobbyist thanks to the detailed bodywork and carefully worked interior. The model includes opening doors and trunk, a removable engine, a movable steering wheel, and rubber wheels. COBI also notes dedicated new parts created for this set. For collectors of classic cars, it is a solid shelf model with enough features to keep the finished build interesting up close.
