Description

This 1:28 COBI model depicts the German Sd.Kfz.124 Wespe self-propelled gun, built on the Panzer II chassis and paired with a 10.5 cm leFH 18/2 howitzer. With 860 pieces, it sits in the more detailed end of the range and should appeal to collectors who want a display model with some build substance. The Executive Edition includes three minifigures, an artilleryman and two paratroopers, all dressed in tropical camouflage with sand accents that suggest an Italian theatre setting. The finished vehicle stands out with its sand-green camouflage, printed details and the removable block engine. A nameplate is included as well.
