Description

This 1:28 scale M18 Hellcat recreates the “Crock of Cognac” tank destroyer as used by the U.S. Army’s 805th Tank Destroyer Battalion in Italy in 1944. With 1,026 pieces, it is a substantial build that ends as a display-focused model rather than a small desk piece, and the finished vehicle measures over 23 cm long. The set stands out for its historical markings, including the distinctive black cat emblem on an orange background, and for details such as the interior, the removable Continental R-975-C4 engine, and the moving parts. You get a rotating and detachable turret, a movable gun mantlet with fabric cover, opening armour sections, and working tracks. One commander minifigure is included, armed and dressed in period gear.
