Description

This 1:12 model of the Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger Ausf. E recreates the famous Tiger 114 preserved at the Musée des Blindés in Saumur. With 8,000 pieces, it is a very large build aimed squarely at collectors who want a substantial display model with plenty of detail. The finished tank measures 71 cm long, so it has real shelf presence. The set focuses on the late E version, with a new camouflage scheme, updated chassis and running gear, and many revised details, including the commander's hatch and an MG34 on the side. It also offers a detailed interior, openable hatches, a rotating turret, a movable gun, and working wheels and tracks. One highlight is the Maybach HL230 engine, built from 300 pieces and designed to be removable.
