Description

This 728 piece, 1:48 scale model captures the British F-4M Phantom II, also known as the FGR.2, as used by the RAF. It represents one of the best known British interceptors and reflects the version adapted for Royal Navy and RAF service, with details such as the modified Spey engines, RAF markings, and added armament. The finished aircraft is built with display appeal in mind, but the moving control surfaces, folding undercarriage, opening cockpit, and included Skyflash and AIM-9 missiles also give it some hands-on value. A simplified RAF pilot figure is included, sized to fit the cockpit, and the model can be shown on a rotating stand with a collector plaque.
