Description

This 1:35 scale model of the Schwerer Plattformwagen Type SSYS captures a German four-axle railway platform wagon built for heavy loads up to 50 tons. With 424 pieces, it sits in the sweet spot for a detailed display build, and the finished wagon is sized to fit in with COBI’s other 20th-century railway and vehicle models. The set includes one German railway guard figure with a miniature lamp, plus three straight track sections measuring 39 cm in total. The wagon has rolling wheels and printed details, and the tracks are designed with realistic brown sleepers and grey rails, with no visible studs on the ties.
