COBI 2299 recreates the church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Sainte-Mère-Église, a landmark tied to the D-Day landings and the story of paratrooper John Steele. With 2,280 pieces, this is a substantial display model that leans more toward collectors and historical builders than quick play. The build includes the church tower, detailed architectural elements, stained-glass windows, surrounding ground and vegetation, plus a historic water pump placed beside the building. The roof can be removed to access the interior, which you can arrange yourself.
